Hi Guys:
We're looking at the elevator and rudder check too - many thanks for the input.
We hope to publish another little update that will cover these shortly.
Please - if you notice anything else - please let me know ASAP so that hopefully we can get all the little rascals solved in one new release.

Hi S/L
Have been practicing circuits (unsuccessfully). The results below seem reasonable to receive a score for circuits ?
There is also a small anomaly which i noticed, that may be of interest, regarding throttle at idle in the A2A. Despite Mr Smith's report at end of the circuit (power should be at idle), the result below shows to the contrary ?
Could you please have a look at my results, as i believe i should have a circuit score? I have a poor ils glide slope score, as i have to ignore the ils glide slope needle to hit the reference point. If i follow the ils glide slope needle, i end up half way down the runway ? As it was, i was still a long way from the reference point as per the summary (but not that far)?

Squadron Leader, except for the minor issues you are familiar with, FSFS 2013 works great for me. The A2A Cessna and your fine program work really well together. Mr Smith continually challenges me and it makes FSX much more interesting. Yesterday I went on a cross country with Mr Smith and no new bugs were revealed. I hope more A2A Cessna 172 buyers find your great product. Cheers!

Hi Rotor:
Congratulations on a well executed circuit! The instructors are a demanding lot!
The business with the throttle is a puzzle as the instructor should either say "Throttle should be idle at landing" or the report should say "Throttle(s) idle" - one or the other.
As to the score, the rules in FSFS are pretty tight. The manual says that in order to get a 'Circuit Score' you have to:
"Land on the runway within 300 feet of your Circuit Reference Point."
I see what you mean about following the glide slope. Please give it another try and see if you can plant the airplane at (or very close to) the point that you entered Circuit Mode. Of course one of the things needed is a good mental reference to exactly where you started from, such as 'on the numbers' or 'with the big building immediately to my left' or similar.
Best of luck!

Hi FSXCOP:
Many thanks for your kind words and feedback!
And thanks for continuing to spread the word on the A2A site. We've been around for almost 7 years now, but getting the word out is still very, very important for us, as a small business.
There are still large sectors of the flight simulation community that have never heard of us and anything that happy FSFlyingSchool pilots can do to help is hugely appreciated.
Attention all happy FSFlyingSchool pilots! One of the most effective ways to get the word out is to write a quick 'review' of FSFlyingSchool on any site that allows it, especially shops that sell our products.
In most cases, this is encouraged regardless of whether the person bought the product from them or not.
Examples are:
FSPilotShop
SimMarket
Amazon.com
Amazon.co.uk
Most important - a review can be a single sentence - no need to write an article!
As an added bonus, some sites, such as FSPilotShop even give the writer points for each review that can be spent at the shop!
In most cases, you just go to the site and locate our product and click a "review" button and go from there.
Yes - I know I have mentioned this before, but we get very, very few user reviews and so I thought I would ask again.
The more people know about us, the more likely they are to try our free demos and perhaps even make a purchase. That keeps us going, developing and improving on the 7 years of work we have already put into FSFlyingSchool!

Squadron Leader, I wrote a brief review on Amazon.com. I hope you approve. As you have no doubt witnessed, I am not a skilled writer, but hopefully I was able to convey a positive message that reflects well on your company. Oh, and by the way my real name is not Fritz, (just on Amazon reviews). Here is the real one. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritz_Zwicky Cheers!

Squadron Leader,
Thats great. I had to come up with a name for the site so I used internet search and I looked for famous astronomers. I liked the name. No real connection.

Squadron Leader,
There is way too much light pollution here. I live in Chicago's western suburbs. I wish I could have a telescope. I would have to drive a long way to get away from the lights. Science is my religion so naturally scientists are my heros, (along with pilots and astronauts). I retired from Police work last July and it's great having more time to sim. I would like to go back to work on getting a private pilots license or even a sport pilot rating, but my wife is hindering my aspirations. Best wishes.
