Hi: Sorry to hear about the problem. We have created a replacement file which should solve the issue for you. Please try this and let us know the results. http://www.fsflyingschool.com/download/fsflyingschool-2011-exe-10dec10.zip Plaese download the file, unzip it and place the FSFlyingSchool.exe file within it into your existing FSFlyingSchool folder. This file will replace the existing file FSFlyingSchool.exe which is the main FSFlyingSchool program itself. If you still get an error when you run FSFlyingSchool2011 - please send us a screen shot of the error. Please let us know how you get on.

Dear Squadron Leader, First of all, I must start to say that only after removing FSX Booster, a FSX addon which never worked properly with my FSX (a waste of money, in my opinion), the FlyingSchool started reconizing my FSX and "Processing Data", yet... I still feel trully disapointed, not to say angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my story: As I found the refferred problem of the "runtime error 6 - Overflow" message, and saw your propposed solution to download the correction file, I did it and now the situation is as follows: 1 - If I try to run FlyingSchool (FSX running as requested) without the supposed correction, as I try to "Connect" to FSX, the runtime error label subsists and I can not make FlyingSchool run; NOTE: - in these circumstances, the settings are there and possibly working, I mean, the instructors show, etc. 2 - If I open FlyingSchool (FSX running as requested) with the correction installed, Flying Schools opens, starts "Processing Data" and after a long time doing so, I can not obtain any sound and instructor names; 3 - Even without sound and instructors, if I pull "Connect" button, a blackboard shows, no images at all but the sound of FSX plane waiting to take off...and for me, I think. This made me loose my Saturday evening and all my Sunday afternoon till now!!!!!! A waste, even not mentioning the money spent! I do want to believe it works properly and that will only be an intermediate configuration problem, anyway not being an expert on such matters, I am not completely blind to it and frankly feel trully disapointed! Could you please be so kind to help me solving such problem? Many thanks in advance. Regards Rui Andrade

Hi - Very sorry to hear you are experiencing problems. Rest assured that FSFS is running just fine, all over the world, on thousands of PCs using FS2004, FSX and now even X-Plane, with XP, Vista and Win 7, on multiple different international versions of Windows. Our software has won 3 consecutive PC Pilot Magazine Classic Product Awards and is recommnded by them, AVSIM and Computer Pilot Magazine. Because of the endless number of different configurations of PCs and indeed of FSX, users may sometimes experience configuration issues. For this reason we offer all our products as free downloads with full manuals. This means that everyone can satisfy themselves that the product works just as they demand before spending any money at all on our products. As to your report... This is most puzzling, unusual behaviour so I will start with some background questions: 1. What version of FSX? 2. What version of FSUIPC? 3. What version of FSFS2011? 4. What version of Windows? 5. Have you ever updated FSX? 6. Have you ever uninstalled or deleted or moved FSX? 7. Windows security has become so tight that in order for FSFS to function correctly it is necessary that: - The same user installed FSX and FSFS and FSUIPC. - That same user is running FSX and FSFS. - That user is an administrator on that PC. - It may be necessary to right click on the shortcut that launches FSFlyingSchool and choose "Run as Administrator" in order to avoid problems with Windows Security. Please try these methods. Please let me know about the questions.

Hello, Thanks for answering my message and your help. . I never doubted the software works properly and thats why I'm looking to your help. I am sure something must be wrong from my side or with my FSX, which had a problem in the past and I had to remove it and load it again with a new llicense key supplied by Microsoft. Should it be a problem and I preffer to buy a new FSX. Looking forward to your opinion. I'll try to answer all your questions on your own message. Please find it below on bold capital letters ____________________________________________ SquadronLeader (1/24/2011)

Whenever FSX is reinstalled or moved there are things that can get into a bit of a tangle, but this is usually not the case. I would like to know... 7. Please try these methods. Please let me know if you are doing all of the above.

Hi, I'm back home again and tried your suggestions. Nothing works and I guess it is a problem created when installing FSX due to the way my pc has been installed. In fact, I noticed now that the path for the addons installed is different from the one for FSX and also FSX is not able to run as Administrator. Therefore, I decided to format the all computer and install everything again from the begining. I think it will be the best to correct problems on FSX. I guess the problems will be solved after that but I will let you know anyway. I hope that I will not find problems on reinstalling FlyingSchool as it was downloaded before. Can I repeat the installation using the same keycodes? Thanks again for your assistance. I'll be back to let you know about the results Best regards Rui Andrade

>> Can I repeat the installation using the same keycodes? If you downloaded from us - just download again and use the same codes as we gave you when you made your purchase. Good luck and thanks for keeping in touch with us. ______________________________________________ Dear SquadronLeader, Based on the suggested reason for FlyingSchool not working (several users and a problematic FSX), I took the following steps: - my pc was sent to the technician, formated and fully reinstalled with windows XP; - Flying Simulator was installed from its original cd and key code inserted and accepted; - FSUP-C4 was downloaded and installed; - FlyingSchool was installed again and key codes inserted and accepted. After all this, FSX was running perfectly Then I followed the steps as per your instructions, I mean: - started FSX; - issued a flight planner and put the airplane on the ground ready to start a flight; - with FSX running, I opened Flying School and the starting label showed with lines covering the titles and the bloody label "RUNTIME ERROR '6' OVERFLOW" over it This means that after all this work, trouble and money spent with the technician formating and reinstalling, I still cannot run this software!!!!! NOTE: THERE IS NOW ONLY ONE USER (ME) WITH ADMINISTRATOR POWER Would you please be so kind to tell me what should I do now? Looking forward to your news. Best regards Rui Andrade
