Can you post a screenshot of the error? It'll really help us find and fix it.

Robert is looking at your email from last night - thanks.

We could really use a screen shot - please send it to us.

To send us a screen shot, press the Print Scrn (print screen) button on your PC keyboard to capture the entire screen and then PASTE that information into an email to us at support@fsflyingschool.com

To PASTE the screen capture, simply press Ctrl V while typing in the body of an email to us. The email will need to be in HTML format (not plain text).

I have the same problem in the latest version FSFS2011. Error when reading data from file FSX.RWY.
It is a type mismatch of data and variables to which it is stored. The item can not be identifiable.
Sending errors on your server will terminate the program. FSFS can be used if the error is allowed to be displayed.
Unfortunately, in this case can not be read reviews. I think that fix this error for developer should not take
more than 30 minutes.

I´m sorry for errors in my English.

Please download this test version:
http://www.fsflyingschool.com/download/fsflyingschool-2011-exe-22dec2010.zip

* Extract the EXE file from the ZIP file and copy it into your
FSFlyingSchool2011 folder
* Run FSX
* Run FSFlyingSchool2011
* Check it's the correct version of FSFlyingSchool by looking for "Dec 22"
on the "credits" page

The runways should start to load, and if an error occurs, please note the
LINE number and post it here.

Thank you very much. Loading of data when FSFS started is now without error. The error 13 is now only when I try to generate runways
from FSX scenery. The error occur on the end of generating. Error is maybe in some of my added airports (are from FS2004) and it is not too important to me,
because I can fly with default runways data. Thank you once again.

Hi,

I have just downloaded and installed FSFS2011 demo and I had the same problem.

I have reported it to you but I also found a workaround for it. If I change regional setting to English (US) then this error is not occurring any more. It is even enough to change decimal symbol to '.' (dot) and everything works perfectly.

I am posting this here because this work-around helps for the same error when generating runway information for FSFS (and other add ons).

Best regards

PS: I have downloaded the fix mention in John’s post and it also helps. But program is not signed and it would be nice if you could incorporate this fix into published version.

Thanks for the information.

We're working on the next (free) update of FSFlyingSchool 2011, which will include the fixes we made in the temp. version I linked to above, as well as other new features!

Unfortunately I have just found that the same error ocurs when trying to load a flight plan - both from file or from FSX.

Again changing decimal symbol to '.' (dot) helps.
