Hi BM Your leg 38 landing score seemed a bit odd (0.50) Anything in the Smithy debrief to give you a clue as to why the low score? Or perhaps Smithy was just throwing a wobbly Biggles

Hey I think celebrations is in order. This is by far the all time low landingscore, and for this we should drink to the big Moose.
Cheers lads

Hey I think celebrations is in order. This is by far the all time low landingscore, and for this we should drink to the big Moose. Cheers lads Smithy was pissed with me as he had to stay sober the previous night Revenge ... Landing Score:0.50
Landing was successful in the following areas: - Gentle touchdown.
- Good landing speed - not too fast.
- Distance from touchdown target (visual approach): 203 feet
- Glideslope held until flare.
- Good pitch control after touchdown.
- Good pitch at landing.
- With flaps - good job.
- Throttle(s) idle.
- Good controlled final descent to touchdown.
Landing included the following problems:
- Poor glideslope on visual approach - you can do better.
- Poor alignment with runway on visual approach - line up and stay there.
- Wings not level - danger of clipping the ground or damaging your gear.
- Touch down not aligned with the runway - let's point down the runway.
- Poor steering after landing - stay on the centre line.
Definite room for improvement... Cheeky sod!! Cheers
Big Moose

Hi BM, CONGRATULATIONS on safely completing Phase 1 of the pretigious Sydney to Singapore Tour. If you look for the rowdiest bar with dancing girls hanging out the windows & you should find JoeMini somewhere inside. He arrived in Daru on Nov 29th. I am still stuck at Yarn Is waiting for spare parts from Dublin as I am told Guinness is hard to come by in Daru. But my time is not wasted as I have bought a 12th hand SF260 and have just completing the paint job as we speak Biggles

Next time bounce on the left to even up the stresses I remember seeing a real life pilot with over 1000 hours under his belt on heavy multi engined types (see below) struggling to come to terms with a Chipmunk tail dragger. He literally spent a few hours in the circuit before he mastered the art. He had to buy a lot of bier that night Biggles Now thats a tail dragger! Bounce that baby down the runway
