FSFlyingSchool2009 Released!

FSInventions announces the expansion of their product line with a new version of their FSFlyingSchool add-on for FSX and FS2004. There are now 2 products to choose from!

FSFlyingSchool2009 takes FSFlyingSchool to a new level with a host of new features.

Several incremental improvements have been made to FSFlyingSchool2009, including adjustments to the ease or the difficulty of satisfying your instructor.

The major new features of FSFlyingSchool2009 are as follows:

Evaluates landing with or without ILS at any runway in the world
You can perform an ILS approach or a visual approach to any runway, with the instructor watching and helping you through the entire process.

Automatically creates FSFlyingSchool profile for any powered airplane
Any plane you choose to fly will be automatically detected by FSFlyingSchool and a profile for it will be created.

Pilot Briefing Tool analyzes all flights to find patterns of performance which need improvement
This unique tool will look at all flights made with FSFlyingSchool and find areas which need improvement and advise you of those which you are perfecting.

Option to monitor correct use of aircraft lights
Your instructor will now, if you wish, add a whole new dimension to your flying by expecting you to use your aircraft lights correctly.

Instructors now give additional warnings before mistakes are made
We can all use a little help and your instructor now will caution you when you are about to slip-up.

Instructors have many new helpful and entertaining phrases
Your instructors want you to enjoy the experience and help out with tips and the odd unexpected observation.

Aircraft system failures integrated into scoring
FSFlyingSchool pilots are no strangers to aircraft failures, but they now score extra points if the pilot retains control.

Option to monitor correct use of aircraft engines
Instructor will be watching your management of engines and looking for the proper technique.

Engine fires (in FSX)
These are pretty serious, can lead to exciting times and are very dramatic at night.

Monitors use of emergency communications
There is a right time and a wrong time for this sort of thing and your instructor will let you know if you mess up.

Enhanced Help
Already packed with acclaimed help, the program is now even easier to use. Your instructor will also give you tips on what to do.

Hi chas.

First of all, welcome to our little FSFlyingschool "union". Hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us, and if not then please say why and we shall try to make you happy!

There is a pretty restrictive policy regarding acces to the forum features you mention above, so you will not have acces to those, but you can post away and I´m sure that whoever you try to reach will eventually see it and reply - at least I hope so.

You can try to send a private message to the person you try to reach. The guys who run the show have been extremly busy lately, with the fantastic new FSFlyingSchool 2009, crammed with new features, and the result is nothing short of amazing, try out the demo.

Hope you can use this answer - or else don´t hesitate to ask again.

Regards
Ole Andreasen, Denmark

I just downloaded and installed the 2009 version and I'm very pleased with it so far. The three major improvements that I noticed right away were:
1. The program creates the FSR files automatically. No more trying to create them on your own.
2. Not being penalized by "proper" use of the autopilot. What 747 pilot flys by hand for a 16 hour flight from San Francisco to Melbourne?
3. The integration of visual and ifr flights being recognized correctly.

Overall this has to be the best utility addon for Flight Simulator ever made. For $40.00 its a "steal". Not only that, now I can learn how to fly the light aircraft better.

No problem, quote me as much as you'd like. I'm on another flight now and so far it's just a wonderful experience. I'm using the Carenado 182 RG, and the instructor has already reminded me of some my lax habits. :-)

Sid:

Many thanks for the kind words. We'd love to quote you if that's OK?

If you feel like sharing your expert opinion with the world, and you have a moment, you can submit a review (just a single sentence is fine) on the FSPilotShop site at:

http://www.fspilotshop.com

Just click on FSFlyingSchool2009, and then scroll down to the "write review" button at the bottom.

If you get a moment it would be much appreciated!
