Hi Mario:

>> You will find four circuits made yesterday January 16y. I attached my complete logbook and the link to the maps. Hope this works.

Where was this sent? I regret that I cannot see it.

Regarding FSR and FSU, circuits cannot be flown unless you are flying a plane with an FSR file.

As to the comments regarding the landing, these are what we would expect to see if the instructor does not know, according to the rules described in the manual, which runway you are landing at.

Of course I know that you are in circuit mode and that the instructor knows the exact spot that you took off from, but you also need to comply with the logic in the program which requires that as you descend through 500 feet above ground level in landing mode, you MUST be lined up with the runway you intend to land at.

If you are, the instructor will say "We're landing at runway..." etc.

If you are not, he will tell you very clearly that he cannot evaluate the landing, for as far as he is concerned, you are landing in a field.

If you are preforming a visual approach, you need to make absolutely certain that you are not receiving any signal on NAV1.

If you are performing in ILS approach, you need to make absolutely certain that NAV1 is tuned to the correct runway ILS and that the GPS/NAV switch is NAV.

Hope this helps!

Hello Squadron Leader,
Thank you for the information. I will review this next time I fly circuits using .fsr A/C. Sorry for the files, I thought they were attached, so here we go for round 2!

Hope this works,

Hi Mario:

Thanks for taking the time to submit the feedback data - I can see it all just fine now!

I think what we need at this point is for you to successfully fly a flight, in a plane with an FSR file, observing the details I mentioned about the instructor knowing where you are going to land, so that you get a decent landing score and then we can look at what was wrong with the specific landing/circuit scoring?

Or, if you have already done that in the data you have sent to us, can you chose a flight that had a problem, and tell me specifically which flight map matches that flight and which specific log book entry goes with it?

In summary I need to know:

1. A specific flight in which you have found a problem with FSFS - and specifically what the problems were with that flight

2. The map that goes with it

3. The log book entry that goes with it

Hi... I have been doing circuits for the last three days, but I still never got a score. Why? It was always 0.0 and it is a bit annoying when the teacher tells younice job on final turn, goodaltitude etc.
Is it a bug that is still not fixed or what???
Please let me know.

Cheers
S.

Hi S:

No - there are no bugs in circuit training, but there are reasons for the score to be zero.

I'm delighted to help in any way I can - could you please post the full text from the 'full pilot log book' entry for the flight you are describing into a reply to this post and I will determine what the reason for the zero score was.
