Hi:
Could you please email ( support@FSFlyingschool.com ) screen shots of the ENTIRE screen showing each of the errors - we've been trying to solve this, but think that, just possibly, we might see something in a screen shot that gives an extra clue. This can sometimes solve the case immediately - but it is extra work for you so we don't ask unless we think we need to.
To send us a screen shot, press the Print Scrn (print screen) button on your PC keyboard to capture the entire screen and then PASTE that information into an email.
To PASTE the screen capture, simply press Ctrl V while typing in the body of an email to us. The email will need to be in HTML format (not plain text).
Please send the email containing the screen shot which you send to us, to yourself as well, so that you can see if the screen shot is correctly shown in the email and that it is readable and clearly shows the problem you are experiencing.
If you have any problems doing this - you can always just take a picture of the screen with a digital camera and send us that picture. As long as the picture is clear we can use that!
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi David:
Thanks for the screen shot.
Can you try this - install FSIA in the same exact location as it was before when it was working - there are so many variables involved that it is worth at least trying this because, if it works - it works!
If the folder in which it was installed before no longer exists - please recreate it (you can simply specify a NEW folder when you install FSIA).
All this is especially relevant if it was previously on a different disc drive.
Please let me know how you get on.

Thanks once again for your advice. I am not completely sure now where it was installed before so I tried a few different possibilities, all without any success - the same problem occurred.
I tried the default location c:\programs (x86)\FSIA; also directly into the C: drive, also C:\fsx and E:fasx (where FSX is installed).
I believe I had FSX installed on either C:\fsx or E:\fsx
Thanks,
David Parker

Problem resolved - this is to thank you for your efforts to help me with this problem. I decided that because it was so difficult I would take the plunge and make some changes to my computer. I have upgraded to a SSD and a new installation of Windows 8.1. Instant Approach works perfectly well on the new install of the above with a re-install of FSX. I assume therefore that there was some problem with my Windows installation. I had hoped of course that the error messages which came up would have given the clue as to how to fix it. Thanks again for your help.
