Hi...

Have just recently purchased FSFlying School Pro 2013....

I apologise in advance for is probably a very stupid question... but I run FSXin full screen mode for  performance reasons.

I gather that tp get FSFS to intereact with FSX... I have to run FSX... set up a compatable plane location etc place myself in the cockpit by pressing "Fly Now" in FSX..

When I do that .. how do I launch FSFS when the windows desktop isn't accessible to me?

I don't want to run FSX in Windowed mode...

Thanks

John H

Hi John:

FSX and FSFS are like any other Windows programs - you can run dozens of them at the same time and switch between them by a number of methods, such as clicking their name on the task bar at the bottom centre of the screen (if FSX is running in 'windowed' mode) , or by using ALT TAB to switch between programs.

For reference for other readers of this topic - some folks prefer to run FSX in 'windowed' mode so it is easier to see which programs are running. You can move in and out of this mode by pressing ALT ENTER while in the cockpit in FSX.

I have just forked out for FS FLYING SCHOOL PRO 2013 and downloaded it and found the icon on my desktop BUT it still just says that I have the DEMO version.

I have inspected ALL PROGRAMS and there are a number of items in Flying School but the only one which looks like Flying School i=turns out to be the Demo version.

There's still something I'm doing wrong and I haven't even taken off yet!

Do I get marked down if I can't find the full paid for version??

dear Sirs
I have just forked out for the full version but every time I try to open it via the icon on my desk top I am only confronted with the DEMO version.
there seems to be a missing link somewhere. Any clues please?

Hi Peter:

I am sure this will not be hard to solve.

All copies of FSFlyingSchool are a DEMO until the registration data is entered into the program.

We do not publish a specific DEMO version - all versions are the same and are waiting for the entry of registration data to make them become the full product.

Please simply launch the program and copy and paste the registration data you received from the seller into the credits screen of FSFS PRO 2013.

Let me know if you have any questions - and how you get on.

Dear squadron Leader
With nearly three and a half thousand posts behind you it must be great to have your finger on all the buttons.
Question.
There are five "fields" requiring information and input.
they all require something.
I have only two numbers, the activation key and the order ref.
What is the number or code that should go into the boxes on the right hand side?
19 characters..
Do I divide the order ref up and put three in each?

I just hope the flying is easier than this....(mutter, mutter)

Hi:

A typical set of registration codes looks like this...

23345415
33554354
35262625
8BA7-ABC5-3AB6-EBA8-6001

but it may appear in an email like this...

23345415,33554354,35262625,8BA7-ABC5-3AB6-EBA8-6001

As you can see it contains 4 parts.

Just install and launch FSFS PRO 2013 and then copy and paste each one of the 4 parts into the 4 fields at the credits screen of FSFS PRO 2013.

Dear Squadron Leader

This is getting sillier and sillier.

I have entered this four-sectioned string EXACTLY as it was printed and it tells me "Invalid Registration Key"

A939-B52D-ODEF-12FA-6001

I left the box on the left blank which also has the word KEY beside it.

Where did you dream this up? Hampton Court Maze?

The response from Just Flight included Order Ref JFL2002502DA8ED8E2C but there doesn't appear any blank box for it.

Still, its good fun, isn't it? Gawd knows how it'll be when I take off. I should have stuck to Mahjjong.....

Hi:

I'm sure we'll soon have you up and flying with us!

I am sorry to see that you are having difficulty entering the key correctly.

We've used this system for 6 years and customers have registered tens of thousands of our products.

The section of the key you have shown contains an error, specifically the letter "O" where a zero should appear.

It should read:
A939-B52D-0DEF-12FA-6001

Please send a screen shot of the "Invalid Registration Key" to support@fsflyingschool.com so we can see all of the data you have entered and spot any mistakes and advise you on the correct procedure.

Please take care not to send the data here at the forum - it is private.

To send us a screen shot, press the Print Scrn (print screen) button on your PC keyboard to capture the entire screen and then PASTE that information into an email.

To PASTE the screen capture, simply press Ctrl V while typing in the body of an email to us. The email will need to be in HTML format (not plain text).

If you have any problems doing this - you can always just take a picture of the screen with a digital camera and send us that picture. As long as the picture is clear we can use that!

Hello Sq Leader

I was successful yesterday - up to a point.

I changed the lettering/numbering of the OH to a zero (why do so many web site firms persevere with these confusing characters) and I was able to click on and launch.

Many many thanks for your persistence.

On a flight from Bournemouth to Exeter my computer failed in a serious fashion and it is now being attended to by my friendly computer shop. It looks like a graphics card snag. So I wasn't able to progress to the log book and find out the grisly details.

many thanks again
