Have just loaded FSFS2010 and registered full version but when I start it up, it can't find my Flight sim program. I am running MS FS2004 through MS Vista Home. I have started the flight sim, as directed, aircraft ready to fly, before starting FSFS2010 but it still cant find it? Apologies if this question has already been asked, but scanned through previous forums but could not find anything. Thanking you in advance for a solution! Bryanna70

Hi Bryanna70. Sorry to raise your hopes that I have the answer, because I don't! But I do have the same problem/message except I'm running MS FS 2004, but have just loaded up FSFS2009, on Windows XP (always have been a decade behind everyone else!) Like you, I couldn't find the answer on the forum, so if I may be cheeky and piggyback my question on yours, hopefully someone who knows the answer may be able to help us both!
Regards
Snoopy

On Vista (and Windows 7) please make sure you run the program in administrator mode, by right clicking on the "FSFlyingSchool" shortcut and selecting "Run as administrator" from the menu.
FSFlyingSchool requires FSUIPC for FS2004 (registered or unregistered version) to monitor FS2004. If you run FSFlyingSchool (in admin mode) without FS2004 running - do this once - then FSUIPC should be automatically installed by FSFlyingSchool.
If this does not work can you post details or a screenshot of the Settings tab in FSFlyingSchool?
Let us know what happens!

Snoopy: you need to fill in the folder for FS2004 in the settings screen. This can be done automatically by pressing the "Load Flight Sim folder locTions from the registry" button.
Without this FSFlyingSchool doesn't know where to copy the FSUIPC files to!

Then can you both copy the FSUIPC.DLL file from the FSFlyingSchool folder into the FS2004 modules folder.
E.G.
C:\program files\microsoft games\microsoft flight simulator 9\modules
If the modules folder does not already exist, you must create it first.
Then run FS2004 and FSFlyingSchool (in admin mode), and let us know your results?
