..Hi S/L I see in the fsfs library you have a Piper Cub J3 [FSX default a/c] If I use the A2A Cub J3 will fsfs recognise it as a Cub? I ask because I see that although you have a C172 [FSX default a/c] you also have numerous fsr files for C172 varients, F1, Carenado etc Biggles

No it wont work. The filename must match down to the very underscore or letter. So an A2A Cub wont be recognized as a .fsr file. Sorry. You can make a .fsu file though and have it made into a .fsr file at the next batch.

Guys, Van you clarify a point for me. I have got a Carenado PA Archer II which is not on the hangar list. I have therefore followed the instructions to make an fsu file and seem to have got it working - at least Smithy and FSFS seem to work with it. However when using it I get scores in my log book but the links to load my scores to the on-line table are absent. Is this because it is not officially in the hangar yet? If I attach my fsu file and upload it to FSFS will it get in the hangar and do I need to do anything extra to get the links to the table back? Cheers
Big Moose

I'm sure when the next library build comes along S/L will take note of fsu files submitted, but S/L is the best person to answer that one! and do I need to do anything extra to get the links to the table back? They should be there when you next fly with a fsfs library a/c Cheers Hi BM, Do you wnt to use the Archer on Phase 2 of the tour??? Biggles

Bruce is right. A .fsu file cannot submit scores the web, as the content of the file haven't been officially confirmed, and havent yet gone through the long and painful encryption process to make it a true .fsr file.
If you are certain the the values in your .fsu file are correct, you have done correctly by uploading the file. Then when the FSFS crew updates the hanger, it will be made into a .fsr file, and you will be able to upload scores from it. but mind you that it can take quite some time for the next batch of files to be updated in the hanger, as the process, as I said is very time consuming for each file...
So no, you dont have to do anymore if you are sure your .fsu file is correct, the rest is done by the excellent FSFS crew.
