We have a strange thing here. If you (John Poul Jones or SL) look at the pictures posted by me, compare them to pictures posted by Joe or Bruce, then you will notice one thing. A difference in size of the posted pics.

We have talked about this, and we all do the same thing. take a screenshot, save it as .jpg and then use the IE browser, and use the little icon looking like a landscape (mountains and a sun) and navigate to our pics, and post them....

Same way of doing things - different result!

Why is that? Any of you have a good explanation - or even a way for those unfortunate ones to be able to post man-size pictures, instead of those girlish ones?

Well said Ole.

I have been discouraged from posting many pictures especially cartoons as there would be little point due specifically to the  size of the end product. A shame as pictures can bring a forum to life, especially in the competition forum.

Ole,

When you upload pics, do you see the restriction that I've circled oblongated here in red?

I ususally rezize my pics to a width or height of 400 max to avoid any computer calamities...

Now this is really really weird....

I get THIS message.

As you can see I get 600x600  before downsized....

Why do I get 600x600 pixels by default, when others seem to get only 400x400 pixels????

Well 400 USDs is about 2000 DKKs.  Maybe 400 USPixels are equal to 6000 DanishPixels?

'Course there's always the classic line from the Smothers Brothers, "Mom always liked you best."

Toodles,

I am no expert... but I think  I just increased the basic size of the picture folks can submit to 600 x 600.

So - give it a try!

Well I have to leave that to the others to tell you if you did good, as I had the 600 pixels to begin with. I reckon that my status as moderator, something I keep forgetting, is the key to the difference from the others....

But Thank you SL. Its go great when the developers listen to the users and act on it. Great costumer service!
