Well this is me so far, starting to score on landings and will get to destination on time, P.S. Anyone think I should report the captain of the 737 that came down infront of me while I was on final at YBBN and I had clearance to land!!

GREAT to have a new pilot in this, Bruces tour. Very welcome to you, and I see that the landingscores are quickly increasing. Press on and you shall soon become a threat to the people in the lead....

Howdy there, Ronan. Good to have you aboard! Here's wishing you fair skies and following winds.... I've found a utility - AI Smooth, by name - that is supposed to take care of situations like that by forcing AI aircraft to hold while you're on approach/final. I've not had cause to use it though, as I solved that potential problem on tour by turning off my GA AI aircraft and dialing back the airliners. One day though.... You also might consider turning off collisions so you can ignore any sort of terribly rude incursions of that sort. Do watch out for the overabundance of the Austrailian plane-eating tree - found at the end of many a runway ahead of ye....

Hi Ronan, a very warm welcome hot & humid Oz & the Sweet & Sour Tour I've told Kev, my Aussie man Friday with the foul breath, to forward your details to immigration so you do not have too many troubles at borders. I would say that by the time you get to the end of Phase 1 your landing scores will be considerably higher. As Fenric says turn off crash detection, too many trees/buildings at the end of r/w's create your own r/w files to suit your own landing spots. Consider flying in low/no wind conditions. No instructor would send a new pilot up in a 15kt crosswind It's all about fun. Enjoy Biggles

Guys guys guys. I cannot believe Im reading this! and from people who speaks realism. Turning off collisions??? Never in a lifetime.
Check out the runways before you fly the leg, and make adjustments if needed - land at another rwy, from the other end, (tailwind landings.....:w00t or just make a custom rwy file further down the rwy, so you can fly clear of obstacles. Thats the way to land - or at least, thats the way I will do it. But of course, this is a parameter that each pilot choose.... Its a free world!

Thanks Bruce, Working my way through, however I dont think my Nonils files are correct, even though I have doube checked, runway heading always seems to be problem, When I make the file I take the heading once I have the plane in place etc, but still always comes up as error when getting score!!!

Hi Ronan Make a r/w file for your next destination with the landing spot on the r/w numbers . Post details of the non ils file & I'll check it out for you It would also be helpfull if you would copy & paste Smithy's flight debrief for your last flight. Biggles
