Hi Oliver:
Thanks for your question - we constantly monitor what people are asking for and from time to time we do surveys too - and right hand circuits are certainly on the list of things to do, but they are not in high demand. In this they have much in common with support for helicopters, gliders and combat manoeuvres.
So... we'd like to add them, but we will very likely do other things, which are in greater demand, first.
It's not the same of course, but if it helps at all, you can of course practice approaches for both left and right patterns using the approach features built into
FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for FSX/FSX-SE/FS2004
or
FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4
or
FS Instant Approach 2020 for X-Plane 11
Have a great week of flights!

Hi,
Ok, thanks for the answer.
I'm trying to get a circuit score better than ... zero.
Step by step. Flight scores are not so bad ... now often below 75%.
Landing using Approaches with or without ILS are no so bad too ...
If i mix everything in circuits, my landings are very bad ...
so, i try, again and again !

Hi again Oliver:
That was a great, gentle landing!
But - the instructor thinks you landed in a field. He/she did not get the runway information he/she needed. This is done automatically if you are:
(You must always do all 3 of these - every landing)
- Lined up with your runway when
- Descending through 500 feet AGL
- In landing mode
1. Were you flying to LFQT?
2. Please try a total of 3 landings at 3 different airports which are NOT add-on airports and let me know what the result is.
3. Is the airport you were flying to an add-on?
4. Have you 'generated runway data' for FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4?
5. What version of P3D are you using?

Jeff,
1. Were you flying to LFQT?
I was in circuit mode, at LFQT.
As answered in the other post, LFQT is an addon from France VFR. Runways data have been generated successfully.
I will try circuit with 3 stock airports and let you know.
Thank you !
Regards,
Oliver

Hi,
Something got my attention today : at each flight, instructor says that then runway lenght is ... feet. Nothing else.
So i went back to Generate Runway data for P3d. Here's the cmd line :
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>copy /y MakeRwys.exe "E:\P3Dv4\"
1 fichier(s) copié(s).
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>copy /y FSFSRwys.exe "E:\P3Dv4\"
1 fichier(s) copié(s).
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>copy /y FSFSRwys.fsf "E:\P3Dv4\"
1 fichier(s) copié(s).
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>copy /y P3D.rwy "E:\P3Dv4\"
1 fichier(s) copié(s).
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>set str="E:\P3Dv4\"
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>set str=E:
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>E:
E:\FSFlyingSchoolP3D>cd "E:\P3Dv4\"
E:\P3Dv4>MakeRwys.exe
And the message returned :
The process is then going on for about 54661 runway data ...

Hi Oliver:
A small number of users hit a problem when 'generating runway data' with FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4 – and the following simple instructions only apply IF you hit a problem performing that step. If there is no problem you do NOT need to do the following.
Here are the steps…
- If you are having problems 'generating runway data' with FSFlyingSchool for P3Dv4...
At present it would appear that if the free 'Lorby Prepar3D V4 Addon Organizer' is downloaded
from here...
http://www.lorby-si.com/downloads.html
and installed...
and then the latest version of the free MAKERWYS.EXE is downloaded from here...
http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
and placed into both the FSFlyingSchool folder and the main Prepar3D folder
and then FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4 is launched and
'Generate runway data for P3D' is chosen...
...both MAKERWYS.EXE will run to completion
AND
'FSFlyingSchool runway data v 3.41' will also run to completion...
at which point - the task is complete!
If your system is working fine - please leave it alone - we don't want to create problems on a working simulator.
Going forward - we are working on what will be the next step to make this rather more straightforward - and automating as much as we can.

So, MakeRunways is ok :
But there is an error
Not my day ?

Hi Oliver:
Thanks for all the information - it is a great help in solving the case.
I recommend that you copy the file
P3D.RWY
from the folder where you installed FSFlyingSchool PRO 2019 for P3Dv4
into
the folder where P3D is installed on your PC.
The file you will copy is the default runway data which comes with FSFlyingSchool.
This should mean that you are able to fly with FSFlyingSchool into and from all the standard airports supplied with P3Dv4.
This standard data may not exactly match your add-on airport data, if the add-on airport data is has runways, taxiways and ILS paths in places which are different to standard P3Dv4 data.
Do you have a drive onto which you can place, for sharing, the data generated on your PC? (It is likely to be about 99 MB).
I will need the file
Runways.txt
If you have a place to share it (like DropBox or Google Drive) then please email a link to the file to
support@FSFlyingSchool.com
Thanks!
