New to the forum so "hello all"!
I have FSFlyingSchool Pro 2015 and for some reason it will not recognise my Twin Otter (Extended) ... it does recognise my other add-on aircraft that also have detail packs in FSFS Pro 2015.
Grateful for help in getting this sorted.

Which version (number) of FSFlyingSchool PRO 2015 do you have?
What happens when you try to turn on the Twin Otter detail pack using the checkbox at the aircraft screen of FSFlyingSchool? (Remember that you must be connected to the simulator via FSFlyingSchool first).

Hi
Thanks for the quick response.
1. I have 8.4.0 installed
2. "When happens when you try to turn on the Twin Otter detail pack using the checkbox at the aircraft screen of FSFlyingSchool? (Remember that you must be connected to the simulator via FSFlyingSchool first)." => that's the problem : the Twin Otter checkboxes remain greyed out so I'm unable to interact with them (this is with FSX running and loaded with a Twotter flight) ... seems like the aircraft is not being recognised. My other add-ons work fine (e.g. Carenado Cessna 182; QW 757)

Hi:
Can you give me the exact name of the folder in which the plane exists inside your AIRPLANES folder in FSX?
Have you changed this folder name?
Note that the installation of the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended installed 7 folders for 7 different types of the plane on our systems here - which one are you using?
Do any of the other variants work (e.g. DHC6-100 versus DHC6-300 or "tundra" versus "wheels")?

The following seven folders are under the “Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes” folder:
Aerosoft_DHC6_100_FLOAT
Aerosoft_DHC6_100_WHEEL
Aerosoft_DHC6_300_AMPHIB
Aerosoft_DHC6_300_FLOAT
Aerosoft_DHC6_300_SKIWHEEL
Aerosoft_DHC6_300_TUNDRA
Aerosoft_DHC6_300_WHEEL

The above folders are named as the installer named them – I have not changed

I have all seven folders installed (as above) and have tried them all

I am trying to save you time so I will make an inference - I don't think you purchased the "Twin Otter Detail Pack" (see above) for FSFlyingSchool PRO 2015?
If this is the case, the puzzle is solved. It was an add-on for FSFlyingSchool PRO 2015 and without it, you will not get detailed instruction for the Twin Otter. This is explained in the product manual.
Both FSFlyingSchool PRO 2016 and FSFlyingSchool PRO 2017 have the "Twin Otter Detail Pack" built into them, plus of course, a great number of other things.
Please let me know.
