Good morning, I tried every possible combination I could, utilizing all the great advice you sent me and still FSFS would not stay connected. FSFS info screen said it could not locate the .fsu file for the aircraft in the FSFS Aircraft folder. I went to the FSFS Aircraft folder and the .fsu file was there. As you can tell I'm not the best computer person in the room. I clicked on the .fsu file and selected properties. All looked normal. I clicked on the "details" tab and I saw something strange. The file name was xpCarenado C152II v3 Blue.fsu.fsu. How can this be? I went back to the FSFS Aircraft folder and deleted the .fsu on the end of the file and now FSFS stays connected. How the fsu file had the double .fsu extension is beyond me. But now I can leave you alone, at least until I try to configure the voice command pack. I will read the manual cover to cover. Promise.
Thanks so very much for all your help. You have been most understanding. If you know how I ended up with the double .fsu extension, I would love to know.

Well let's see...
Firstly - rest assured that this is not the handiwork of FSFlyingSchool. It does not write to these files - you make them yourself and they are in your care. So... you don't have to worry about something else changing them.
Secondly - I am not entirely sure what a listing of files using Windows Explorer on your PC may look like, and always remembering that there are a lot of different versions of Windows out there nowadays running our software... One thing that might make things more difficult to work with is if Windows is configured to hide the file extension from you.
When in that state - which is usually the default state when Windows is installed, a file like MyNotes.txt would appear like this... MyNotes
and to people like you and I who need to get their hands on individual molecules of data once in a while  , this is not helpful. 
I can't test all the possible outcomes and Windows configurations, but am pretty sure that if the PC is configured that way, you could be looking at a file with an .FSU extension, decide that it does not have one, and then give it one, with the result that you end up with a file called something like MyFile.FSU.FSU
So... (he said cautiously...) you might consider telling Windows to show file extensions - if they are currently hidden...  (You can even do this just for FSFlyingSchool's Aircraft folder if you prefer).
