Hi:
No problem - you need to rename the file after you have saved it - find the file in Windows Explorer and simply change the file extension from txt to fsu.

Hi 007:
Remember that the manual explains...
"If you wanted to add support for a plane in an X-Plane folder called:
Spitfire
you would need to copy xpYourPlaneFilenameHere.fsu and create a file called:
xpSpitfire.fsu"
Note that the file's extension is .FSU whereas the file you've attached to your forum post has the extension .FSU.TXT which will not work.
Just rename the file so it ends in .FSU
You may need to set your Windows Explorer so that it shows the extensions of the files listed, if it does not already do this.
In Win 7 you launch the Windows Explorer and go to the folder with your files in it and then from the Windows Explorer menu pick...
Tools... Folder Options... View... Hide extensions for known file types and make sure that this option is OFF (no boxed checked)
That's it!
