Then is it the correct program to install the add ons such as voice, or is that what makes it Pro?

Right now you have FSFS Pro + Voice + c152 - these are all for FSX which you do not want.
So - uninstall FSFS Pro and all this will be removed.
Then...
Install FSFS for X-P 10 c172 edition and then finally enter the reg codes into it and also the Voice reg code into it.
Note that the voice code for XP10 is just that - it is NOT the code for FSFS Pro (which is for FSX).
And following what Ole says - I agree and would estimate that there are at least tens of thousands of people using FSX with Win7 64 bit.

My next project is to attempt a new install of MS FS-X.

Good news. I've been running Microsoft FSX Gold edition. It installed effortlessly. It was the 32 bit version of Win 7 that gave me the problems.

I just noticed that I didn't get a key for the Cessna detail pack this time.
Is it available for the X-Plane flight school or can I just add the original key?

The Cessna 172 detail pack is built into FSFS Pro.
It is also part of FSFS for X-Plane.
There is no key for either.
