JAK:

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows XP and Windows 2000 would normally fix this and is available here.

Another user told us he was able to solve the problem like this:
"All I had to do was go into the properties for the executable file and tell it to run as administrator AND under windows xp service pack 2."

Please let us know how you get on.

Hi -

Firstly - can you tell us if you installed FS and FSUIPC and FSFS as the same user and also is that user an administrator?

This is by far the best way to run the software and it may not work if this is not done due to the increasingly conservative approach of Windows security.

We are also looking at the issue you described - please let us know and we'll continue from there.

Vista already includes a newer version of the previously linked DLL file. Therefore you shouldn't need to install anything.

- Can you post a screenshot of the error?
- Where exactly does it occur? When FSFS loads or after a button press?
- Also don't forget to run FSFS as an admin.
