Bonjour SquadronLeader,

We have travelled full circle and are now back at square 1. The system is stubborn and won't budge. So I think the best solution would be to delete FS2009 and to download it again.

Before doing this, please let me know if I can use the same Reg. Key I have now (plus, naturally, the personal info as per fields 1,2,3.).

Thanks for your patience.

Georg

Bonjour Georg:

If you think that is best then you can of course try it.

If you bought the full (not upgrade) FSFS2009, you can just reinstall it and register it again.

If you bought FSFS2009 upgrade, in order to use an FSFS2009 upgrade registration key, you will need to install the older FSFS Classic v 1.9.2, register it, and then download and install the DEMO of FSFlyingSchool2009 available from our website over your FSFS Classic v 1.9.2 on your PC and then finally register your downloaded DEMO of FSFlyingSchool2009 using the FSFS2009 upgrade key.

That sounds like a lot - but it is basically install old, register old, install new in same place, register new.

I suggest that in order to separate this completely from your previous installations that you install FSFlyingSchool in a different folder from that which you did before.

Hallo SquadronLeader,

Unfortunately, my last post got lost somehow. So I try to repeat this.

I did what you advised but to no avail. Anyway, we have travelled full circle and are now back to square 1.

What do you think about deleting totally FS2009 and downloading it again?

Before doing this I ask you if I can use again the "Registration Details" as well as the Reg key you sent me after purchase.

Thanks again

Georg

Hi SquadronLeader,

I have deleted FS2009 and reinstalled it.

Next, in the file Progr.Files/Flight Simulator 9, I have three FSFS files. The first one "MakeRwys" has been run: so that is ok.

There are two more files having identical names, viz. "FSFSRWYS"

- one has 387 oct and dates from 11/10/2008 (called FSF folder)

- the other one has 36,0 Ko and dates from today = 7.2.2009 (FS Flying School Runway Gen)

So my question before continuing is what to do with the first one and what with the second.

"- one has 387 oct and dates from 11/10/2008 (called FSF folder)"

Leave this one alone - do not open it - do not do anything with it.

"- the other one has 36,0 Ko and dates from today = 7.2.2009 (FS Flying School Runway Gen)"

This is the program you want - as we discussed before you need to RUN this program. It should create the file "FSFSRWYS.TXT" in the same folder. Once that has been done, you are all set.
