I think that NickN dude is the same guy who helped me out with all of my scenery issues from Flight1 and Simforums.com.  NickN appears to be one heck of a Flight sim Guru.  He knows his hardware and Scenery.

Yes he is a wizard. I followed some of his advice of setting up your computer for FSX, but the raw material I have to work on is simply too bad.

Wow...you too!  It's comical when I tell my wife this will be my last computer upgrade for awhile, knowing full well I'm lying out of my butt.  I'm with you, I'm going to enjoy FSX for a long time, and not rush to automatically get the new FSXX when it comes out, because more than likely Microsoft won't test it all correctly, and bring everyone down to a skreeching halt along with 8 more operating system software hose-ups....Sheez.  Soapbox over.

Ha! Aren´t we all? My wife does not see gaming, and sitting for hours in front of the comp, wearing headphones, with mike, trackIR device, and speaking to your flight sim game, funny or interesting. And that I need upgrades again and again, is incomprihensible to her. but I mean... "Honey - I saw this really cool toaster in the hardware store.", she says.  "what´s wrong with our toaster?", I reply.  "Well it takes half an hour to toast a friggin breadslice, and this new one is 600 watts" "600 watts? Wauu Can´t compete with that!" I finish, and we get a new toaster. I Feel the same about new computerstuff, but It dosen´t seem to have the same impact on her... What can I say - I love her!

I flat out told my wifey on this last one I got, it was going to be one that would run FSX better, and I'm going to get it to specifically fly flight sim...my passion.  Looks like I'll be purchasing one more piece of scenery software....Mesh Terrain stuff.  Just waiting to hear on other forums what people have to say about it....

Know anything about FS Global 2008 or FS Genesis software?

Only what I read on the forums everyware, sorry, I´m not a guru myself, just struggeling to get some good stuff once in awile. I heard that the Global 2008 should be very very good. It´s on my personal "possible buy list"

Keep me posted on your scenery updates, bigspender.

See you.

Too Funny!  In fact, my usually un-interested wifey and my flight sim has now been asking me questions about my WWT flights.  Where are you at now, how did your flight go, etc.  Gosh! I'm touched by her.  She even now comes down and watches for a few minutes, and even comments on things like...."So is the "dude" (mr. smith) gonna give you a bad score again?"  She now understands that just because I land the plane isn't everything that actually happened.  I actually showed her what you have to do one night....and although she could have cared less, she sat down and look 1/2 interested.  Then she pulled the ol', well let's say she started nibblin' on ear, and well...err..the next thing you know...i wasn't flight simmin' anymore...

Mr.Smith as a turn-on? That´s an interesting development there Joey! Perhaps I should try that on the missus.....

Well, gentlemen: Biggles has returned from a 10 day Steelhead fishing trip in "Smithers BC". (CYYD if you wish to fly it)

Ole....I saw your specs. Very nice looking rig. (Not sure 'any' computer will EVER allow us to max out FS graphics, but you will certainly get some very very nice graphics from that computer)

Joe....saw you got Ultimate Terrain products. Congratulations !! I love 'em.
