Thanks for pointing out the workaround @Jasseji.

There does seem to be a bug in FSFS 2022 because when you Save Data it uses just the aircraft folder name. But it seems to want the livery name as well when reading it back.

For example I am using the Toliss A321. The Aircraft directory is:

TolissA321_V1p3p2

On "Save User Data" it creates

xpTolissA321_V1p3p2.fsu

But it never reads this file. I am using a livery in folder "[IAE] British Airways G-MEDN"

If I rename the fsu file to "xpToLissA321_V1p3p2 [IAE] British Airways G-MEDN.fsu" then it now reads the fsu file as expected.

Please can you take a look at this as it will catch out other people? Either it should ignore the livery folder on read or create the fsu with the livery folder name added on save.

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick:

Thanks for your detailed report!

Some publishers' planes lead to the data we get from XP being inconsistent, so when we save FSU data, it is calling itself one thing and when we try to load FSU data it is calling itself by a different name (in combination with the livery).

As I mentioned earlier, sometimes the liveries are such that a specific FSU file is needed for each livery. This is not usually the case, but can be with some publishers.

We are looking at finding a way around this which will work regardless of what XP is telling us the publisher has called the current plane.

Have a great weekend of flights!
