Well after much testing I am happy to confirm the problem has gone away.

Hoorah!

I deleted EVERYTHING regarding the older cd version and reinstalled the demo version. After that no more view changes!

This is very, very strange...

I did however in the first few flights have my engine cut out for no reason but that went away. (I'm not imagining this LOL)

Now then - my explanation here is that FSFS simulated failures made the engine fail - what is your failures slider in FSFS set to?

Anyway I would be surprised if you never hear about that glitch again, becuase it definatly was FSFS. I wonder if the cd version has a bug

Definitely no bug here - hundreds and hundreds in circulation and no such behaviour reported.

or if it was something just with my disc. It looked like a clean copy, no scratches or cracks...I just have no idea why FSFS would have committed random flight sabotaging acts like that (or even how for that matter).

"A truly baffling case..." said Sherlock Holmes.

Really though I hope it doesn't come up again, FSFS seems to be a great program!

Thanks for the kind words. Any questions or if you just want to chat about simming - let us all know here at the forum!
