This detail pack will be nice. I won't say hours manys hours I've logged since 2007, but FSFS'11 is great. I'm planning a flight around the world beginning in London with the last stop at KJFK and than back to London. The voice detail pack is an addon that's I've learned to enjoy, so I'm planning on buying this detail pack thats comming out. Twill be put in my budget.

For a virtual airline pilot, FSFS'11 has by far proven its value.

I know you were hoping for a 2010 release and I am sure you are hard at work on this project but any news on a release date?

Hi -

The development of this project certainly continues - it was not possible to publish in 2010 as we had hoped and we now hope to publish this year, specifically in time for Christmas.

We have added more and think that when this is released, folks will enjoy the greatly increased level of detail and the challenge of flying a big bird with MrSmith giving the "detailed" treatment folks have come to love with the c172 pack.

You're going to have your hands full - but it's going to be fun!

The Boeing 737-800 Detail Pack is built into FSFlyingSchool Pro. There are also lots of additional features in there too!

Hi Folks!

For all you FSX Boeing 737-800 lovers - here are some tips from the FSFS Pro Boeing Detail Pack Manual that you really, really need to know to get the most from your demo or purchase...

IMPORTANT!
While the following is optional for routine flights in FSFlyingSchool Pro, we recommend that all flights with the FSX Boeing 737-800 are conducted according to the following procedures, in order to get the most enjoyment from the FSFlyingSchoolPro Boeing 737-800 Detail Pack:

- File a flight plan..
- Enter speeds at the flight plan screen in FSFlyingSchool Pro for V1, Vr and V2.
- Use the autopilot, autothrottle and MCP controls.
- If you start on the ground, start cold and dark (everything switched off) by preference.
- Set the flight plan screen in FSFlyingSchool Pro so that the flight ends with aircraft stopped, brake on and engines cutoff.
- Always "shut down" the aircraft at the end of a flight (full shutdown procedure)..Disconnect from FSFlyingSchool Pro after you shut down the aircraft and get your final flight score.
- Your 737-800 instructor is Mr Smith. He's the one with the knowledge!
- Do not use the 2D cockpit throttle quadrant.
- Use the 3D cockpit engine start switches.
- Use the 3D cockpit throttle quadrant.

FSFS-Tips You may find that you need to switch from the 3D cockpit to 2D cockpit to Overhead Panel to operate all the switches and controls needed to fly this aircraft realistically.
Note that you can set take off trim within the 3D cockpit.
Yaw damper toggles with Ctrl D.

I can't seem to get any support so I thought that I would try asking in a recent post. I've used e-mail through the FSFS website but never a response. My log book is not recording my flights (FSFS2010 /FSX). My flight ends correctly and I see my instructors evaluation but then it is not recorded. The traditional log book works fine. Can you help with this issue? Hunter
