Encouraged by the success of our Cessna Detail Pack we have continued the series and are about to release the FSFlyingSchool Boeing 737 Detail Pack.

The pack will function in the same way as the Cessna Pack and can be added on to any registered copy of FSFS2010.

The pack works with the Boeing 737 in FSX and is specifically modeled on Boeing's 737-800.

This pack has a lot more features than the Cessna Pack, representing a major increase in detail.

We expect to release very soon in 2010 - check back here for details!

We don't yet have a finalized list, but just some of the aspects of operating and flying this beauty which your instructors will be watching and helping with are...

See details in the first post in this topic.

This sounds like it's going to be great SL! Really looking forward to its release!

I recently started learning how to fly the PMDG 747-400 and it can be really daunting learning how to operate all the systems in these large airliners, especially from cold start-up, so I think this will be a huge help!

Hi

The Boeing 737 Detail Pack will be published in 2010; we do not yet have a release date.

The product follows our usual model in that it is an optional addition to FSFlyingSchool2010 which of course runs on Windows based platforms. We have no Apple software.

Hope this helps clarify the product and overall situation.

Any chance of adding a Go-around mode (including TOGA)? This is always a tough time for me during check rides due to so many things happening so quickly.

The good news is that this is (mostly) covered in FSFS by backing-up the flight mode from landing to cruise, which has the effect of cancelling the landing and continuing flying.

It's not really the same as having a separate go-around mode, but pretty much works.

Adding a new flight mode is a major change to the structure of how FSFS works and, although it might be done one day, it will not be coming soon, if you see what I mean.

While still trying not to break my 172 in landings, this is good news for later.

Squadron Leader, Just returned from 5 days in hospital getting back surgery. The recovery pain was some of the worst I've ever had. I am quickly on the road to recovery. Today is my first real day of flying in nearly a month. Downloaded and installed FSFS2011 and looking forward to getting all this working together again, After this much time off, and the continued used of Pain medication, it's like learning to fly all over again. You've been fantastic in your support of me through this journey and I can never tell you how much you are appreciated. All the best for a successful New Year.
