Hi, I purchased FS Instant Approach (download version) approximately a month ago, initially it worked fine, I have FSUIPC4 4.80 however I'm now experiencing problems as follows: When I load FSX and have the aircraft in a state of readiness then open Instant Approach load the airport code etc I can't toggle back to FSX. On the rare occasion that I can I get a cockpit view with a black screen through the aircraft windscreen and the screen is frozen, I'm not that clued up with PC's so any assistance would be most appreciated. Hi -
There is nothing about FSIA that would have changed over time to produce such an effect so I believe we must conclude that there is something different about the set up of the situation you are experiencing compared to when the process was working well.
Are you using a different aircraft?
Is the aircraft an add-on or did it come with FSX?
Using add-on scenery?
Also - it is easier to see what is going in with FSX if it is not running in full screen mode - you are toggle back and forth by pressing ALT ENTER when you are sitting in a plane.
Please let me know.

Squadron Leader Thanks for the prompt reply. After some fiddling around (albeit somewhat illogically) I managed to get things going again, shame that I haven't really got a clue how I managed it but nonetheless it's now working fine with FSX and add on aircraft. I'm just happy that it's all working as I think it's a great program for dummies like Myself to improve on landings, I'm now trying to master the Harrier thrusters as it's an aircraft that I've always admired, again thanks for the reply and for providing such a great program. Regards Brian
