All,
I didn't see anything in the manual about this, or the forums, so I was hoping to find an answer.
I noticed that when I load FSFlyingSchool in FS2004, the AI ATC callsigns change from the Airline name and flight number to aircraft type. For example, when on the ground at SFO, I would hear ATC: "United 59 Heavy, taxi to runway 28 right." However, as soon as I load FSFlyingSchool, that same flight would change to "B(ravo) 7-6-7, taxi to runway 28 right." Once FSFlyingschool is disabled, "B(ravo) 7-6-7" goes back to "United 59 heavy".
Can I change anything in the menus or settings so that I retain the original callsigns? I prefer hearing "Singapore 11" and "Air France 83" instead of simply "Bravo 7-7-7" or "A(lpha) 3-4-0"
F.Y.I. - I'm using RadarContact for ATC with WorldofAI flight plans and AI aircraft.
- Justin

Hi - thanks for your interest in FSFS. Is this problem only experienced when using Radar Contact or does it also occur when not using RC?

Squadron Leader:
I'm not sure... I only use RadarContact for ATC, and have the default ATC "muted" (per RadarContact Instructions). Surely I'm not the only one experiencing this?
Also, I've tried disabling the instructor handling radio commands (ILS/ATIS) and still experience this.
Anybody?

It may be that this is a result of the combination of RC and FSFS, but I think I am correct in saying that it's the first I've heard of this issue. I am pretty sure other folks out there are using RC with us just fine - but perhaps they do not mind the effect you have noticed? Can you try it without the FSX ATC muted and report back to us?
