Hello,

I just upgraded FSFS 2010 to FSFS 2011.

After starting FSX and before starting a flight, I am getting the message "FSUIPC Status: Can't Connect- IPC request contains bad data".

Then, after starting a flight and connecting FSFS, I am gettimg the message "Run-time error '6': Overflow". Then, FSFS is not functional and does not react anymore.

With FSFS 2010 there haven't been any problems before.

Can you help?

Kind regards

Arndt

Hello,

After starting FSX and before starting a flight, I am getting the message "FSUIPC Status: Can't Connect- IPC request contains bad data".

You need to be in the cockpit of a plane before starting the FSFS program (not just before pressing connect).
Are you in the cockpit of a plane before starting the FSFS program?

Then, after starting a flight and connecting FSFS, I am gettimg the message "Run-time error '6': Overflow". Then, FSFS is not functional and does not react anymore.

Does this happen immediately once you connect?

Are using add-on traffic?

What is the traffic density set to?

With FSFS 2010 there haven't been any problems before.

Can you help?

Kind regards

Arndt

I am in the cockpit of a plane, before starting FSFS.

The overflow happens now already, if I start the program. I don't need to connect in order to have this overflow.

Kind regards

Arndt

OK - we will deal with this in the forum post about the overflow issue.
