It's been a while since I last tried to get the voice recognition to work on my FSX FS Flying School. Previously, for some reason FSX didn't want to recognize anything I said.
Thought I'd run through everything again and see if I could give it a go again.
Speech recognition seems to work outside of FSX. When I start up FSX and then FS Flying School I've noticed that in the "Settings" section that the first box does not give me an option to change the setting. Under "Voice Command" it says "Status" then a box with a drop down list of options. The only choice I'm given is "Off - No voice commands."
My FSUIPC version is 4.600a. I have run the training steps in Microsoft Speech Recognition.
In the "Credits" tab under "Detail Packs" it has "Key" and a blank box for entering the registration number. Below this it says "Enabled Detail Packs" and under that is "VOICEPACK". Is there anything I'm missing here?

Important point - make sure you are not using the speech recognition features of Windows when you start up FSX and FSFlyingSchool. It is normal for the list box to be disabled (gray) when you are "connected" with FSFS so that you cannot change it while flying with us. Is this what you are describing or are you saying that "Off - No voice commands" is all that is offered even when you are not "connected" with FSFS?

This means your FSFlyingSchool Voice Command Pack is correctly registered. This is good. Looking forward to hearing from you.
