If I am understand FS Flying School correctly, it can be retained in use long after one actually gets competent, as a permanent part of your normal MSFS package. So even after 1000 logged hours in your 747, you can still run FSFS to remind you that you are about to do something stupid. Is this understanding correct?
I assume that FSFS can be run along with other add-on programs such as Air Hauler or FS Captain, correct?

You certainly can use FSFS for as long as you wish. As you'll see from the free manual, FSFS does not set out to provide a set of flying lessons as that is already covered in FS in the Rod Machado lessons and the FSX missions. Instead FSFS offers a team of instructors who will fly with you anywhere in any powered airplane and always keep an eye on your technique. As far as add-ons are concerned, we make no representation that FSFS will work with any specific add-ons (except FSUIPC) but if you search through this forum you will see several mentioned with which FSFS has been used with great success!
