Sorry to hear you are not happy.

Did you try to free demo?

The most common reason flights are not logged is because the pilot has not ended the flight due to having changed the flight ending parameters.

FSFS has always been based on the instructor calling off AGL.

i am using a registered copy. I am using saitek pro flight system. When I cut the fuel by my misture control it shuts off the engine. You are saying evenththough this is happening fsflight school isnt seeing it as being off?

Hi -

In some aircraft, cutting off the fuel is difficult to achieve using the mouse with the onscreen aircraft controls, such as fuel mixture or jet fuel cut off, and so you may need to use Flight Simulator’s standard Ctrl+Shift+F1 to cut off the engine(s).

The same can be said of some yokes and other hardware controls where FSX is still getting a reading that the mixture is not fully cut off.

FSFS looks for mixture(s) cut off and engine(s) off too.

So it may be necessary to use Flight Simulator’s standard Ctrl+Shift+F1 to cut off the engine(s).

You'll know if you are going to have the results recorded in the log book when the instructor finally says "OK - we're starting a new flight" which means that the previous flight has, positively, ended.
