I have made an attempt to add a plane. The plane in question is the Carenado 182 RG II. I entered the userdata as I thought would be correct but I am not certain I got everything correct. For example the file created contained an entry

IASSlowDown=88888

and

MixtureControl=0

which are not present in the default C 182 RG fsr file. There are also some other differences. I upload the created fsu file. But it was possible to perform a connect and make a flight with it.

I see your point, but the good news is that there is nothing to worry about.

You have all the necessary data in place already - enjoy the plane.

The fields you mentioned are left over from previous versions of the software and have no effect on the current version.

We will soon be adding your file to the Hangar - thanks for the uploaded file.

Here is another attempt. This time the plane is the Digital Aviation Dournier Do-27. I could connect and fly and the only noticable problem was that I was repeatedly told not to taxi and brake at the same time. But this is rather necessary with this plane. I loaded the B1 variant but the same file data should also work with the A1 variant.

Thanks for your post - it sounds like your configuration (FSU file) is working fine.

Just to be clear, FSFlyingSchool will ask the pilot not to taxi with throttle and brakes applied at the same time.
This is not appropriate for certain aircraft and we are modifiying the program to take this into account. Look for this to be addressed in a subsequent version.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can avoid this penalty by having the throttle at idle when braking needs to be applied to steer the aircraft. Not perfect, but at least a workaround until this is changed in the software.

Hope this helps.

We will soon be adding your file to the Hangar - thanks for the uploaded file.
