FSflying school connects succesfully then when a aircraft is loading it crashes a few seconds after saying its going to disconnect....any clues as to what might be going on?

Many Thanks

Hi! Are you the same Anthony from NZFF? . I have FSFS running happily on my FSX. What version of FSUIPC are you running? I splashed out and bought the latest - but didn't bother with WideFS.

Also - do you have any firewall/security type program that may be getting involved? My Comodo f/w often pops up a dialog when one application tries to launch another. Probably not the case with FSFS/FSX, but may be worth having a go with your firewall disabled (disconnect from the Internet first though ).

Adam(ski)

EDIT: Just a thought ... about the *order* in which you're doing things. Try launching FSX first, then load your aircraft - *and click "fly"*. Then - once you're sat in your aircraft - start FSFS and "connect" to FSX. Also ... if you're on Vista or Win7, make sure you have UAC turned off.

Anthony:

First - thanks to the others for jumping in to help - good community spirit and is much appreciated.

Some questions:

1. Which full version number for FSFS?

2. Is it registered?

3. Change the sequence and report back to us - load FSX first and get into a cockpit and only then launch the Windows program FSFlyingSchool. Set any options and only then press connect.

Please let us know how you get on.
