Hellow,

I got Windows XP, FSX, downloaded the FS2010 demo's to try it out, I also run FSUIPC (latest version).

FS2010 can connect to FSX, but I dont have help, it says I need to create a pilot first, but when I try to create 1 I get an error 383.

It sounds like this error would occur if you didn't have any Instructors installed...

In the "Pilots" section, there is a drop down list of instructors, next to the "Listen to Instructor" button. How many instructors are listed?

Instructor folders are installed (as folders) in the Sound folder.
E.G. C:\Program Files\FSFlyingSchool\Sound

Which folder is FSFlyingSchool installed in on your PC?
