| BEACH BARRON 58 PACIFIC 777 DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. EXELENT LANDING 418 FT FROM MARKER. LANDING SCORE 2.60 FLIGHT SCORE 101.63. FSFC MALFUNCTION SOS SOS 2.60 LANDING SCORE NEVER. ANY IDEAS GUYS DONT WANT TO POST UNTIL I FIND OUT WHATS HAPPINING JOSEPH767UK Landing Score:2.60 Landing was successful in the following areas:
* Good alignment with runway on visual approach.
* Gentle touchdown.
* Good landing speed - not too fast.
* Wings were level.
* Distance from touchdown target (visual approach): 418 feet
* Glideslope held until flare.
* Good pitch control after touchdown.
* Good pitch at landing.
* With flaps - good job.
* Heading aligned with runway.
* Throttle(s) idle.
* Good controlled final descent to touchdown.
* Good steering after landing.
Landing included the following problems:
* Poor glideslope on visual approach - you can do better.
Definite room for improvement...

| Joseph. Its simple. Its the 400+ feet away from the landingspot. that will drain your points completly. Gotta aim straight for the spot. Anything up til 20 feet will give you EXTRA points, but after that it will start to take away points. at about 450 feet you will have lost 100 points, if I remember it correctly, so thats the reason. sorry.

| Hi Joseph, Biggles here, If it helps an old flying boat trick I picked up whilst ferrying "cargo" out of Kowloon many years ago was to throw out the anchor when over the intended landing spot and expect rapid deceleration.  Biggles Clean it, if it's dirty Oil it if it squeaks But don't screw with it if it works USAF Electronic Technician
