| i am running fsx on a windows vista pc. i get the following problem when doing 'connnect' error code 2147467259 unable to play the file on the device location: SoundTimer::Timer ...if i disable sound it connects ok..............any ideas???????

Hi - this error has been seen a few times and the solution is usually pretty easy.  Usually it is because the "device" being used for voice playback is not the one we need. If you go to: * Open Control Panel (Start > Settings > Control Panel or Start > Control Panel )
* Open "Sounds and Audio Devices"
* Select the "Voice" tab
* How many devices are listed under "Voice playback"? Can you list them? You most likely have at least 2 in the list. You can also try switching the default one being used to... the other one and then try FSFS again. You can also see more about this by searching for "2147467259" on this forum.
