I bought the 2008 version of this software & recently got back into flight simulation & find out there is a 2009 upgrade at substantial cost.($10 discount to upgrade from 2008 to 2009??)
What will happen in 2010?
Another price gouge?
Not from me.
I will not subscribe to this annual compulsory upgrade that is more like an annual lease.
Consider me gone as a customer & user.

Hi Zenandzen

First of all I (I - being a user of this product - nothing more, nothing less) think its great that the classic version got you back into flight simming.

Second, this is not an annual upgrade. The classic version (not a 2008 version) came out in late 2006, and has run two years, and has had 10 FREE upgrades in the meantime, improving and expanding the product immensly for no costs at all.

After two years the product is still going strong, but at the same time FSInventions have made a product so full of new stuff, that it is sold as a seperate product. It really is packed with new stuff, and great, BUT hey its you, the costumer who decides what version to run. The classic version is no less good, just because a new version has arrived - and a new version that has had two FREE upgrades already, I should add...

Regards
Ole Andreasen, Denmark

What that person said was incorrect - there is nothing "compulsory" about the upgrade.

FSFSClassic (Dec 2006 to Nov 2008) is still fully supported.

Thanks again Ole for your input!
