Things can get a little strange in the FS2004 or FSX environment after an airplane has crashed or "broken" (where no "crash" has occurred, but you clearly can no longer fly the airplane).

It appears that FSFS may have issues with this as reported by a pilot who said that a number of things did not appear right when starting a new flight in FSFS right after crashing an airplane.

My advice is simple. If you crash an airplane while running FSFS2009 v 2.2, by all means read the crash report and note that it is stored in your log book, BUT then you might as well disconnect FSFS2009 and quit it and then restart it fresh, so it is not misled about what it happening in FS2004 or FSX.
