For the FSFS team and other aviation enthusiasts,
As most people do know that since FSFS is just starting out with new software for us to become better and more aware of the use of our Flight simulation skills; the developers only need to start adding some of the information as to how to create an FSU file for other airports that we use. It is great that we can enter input from the aircraft that we use to create FSU files; however, it would be nice to have the same capability to do it with the airport(s) of our own home based ones. Perhaps, there can be another way to enter data for other airports, and enter vectors etc., and all the Approaches to the other airports we intend to land (arrive) at after filing a flight plan. I have uploaded a file of the Airport in which I use all the time since I am from there. CYQG Windsor, Ontario. Canada. Just thought I would post this interesting subject. I hope this will help all of us to figure out how to get FSFS to recognize the airports we use.  Captain Garrick D. Pattenden, ATP. Air Canada.

Hello (again) Garrick I´m not sure exactly what you mean here. What part of your airport dosen´t FSFS recognize? If you want to do an ILS approach and -landing, you just need to find the ILS info (you can use the map in FSX) and set the dials in the plane. You dont even need to file a flightplan in FSFS to land an ILS landing.  If you want to do a visual landing, FSFS has every runway in the world covered for that. (And you can even edit that runway info, if you are not happy about landing at the edge of the runway for instance) Just file a flightplan, and select the runway in the flightplan tab in FSFS, and then you only need to set the dials in the plane(you can even change the runway at anytime before landing, without changing the flightplan - just change the dialsetting in the plane too) and you are set to land visually. If you mean that you would like FSFS to show you all that info you provided in your attachment, then its of course something for the developers to work with. Maybe that info could be extracted like the lat/long coordinates, and the heading. And shown in the flightplan tab, alongside the other info. Nice idea. If I am completly wrong here in assuming what you mean  , then enlighten me please.

Hello (again) Garrick I´m not sure exactly what you mean here. What part of your airport doesn't´t FSFS recognize? I would really appreciate that very much. The standard altitude of the airport would be of help also should the developers be able to insert that as well that would be very helpful. I also use FS2004 for my B777-200 Professional from JustFlight to keep proficient; however, at this time they do not have one available for FSX. I do however have many other airports that I use on a regular basis that I fly to with the Boeing Aircraft in both FS2004 and FSX.
