Hi, I been trying your demo version and have some feedback- Be nice if the options for lights monitor was associated with the plane profile. I have one aircraft that has only landing lights with no taxi lights and another that has both and I have to keep remembering to set depending on the aircraft. Be nice to do once and have auto set with aircraft selection.
- On flap violation, be nice if more was said by instructor - flaps x should only be select below xyz knots - provides more learning opportunity
- Go around stage would be nice to have - I'll check your manual if I missed something on this
- Add approach/descent stage - on left downwind leg kept being told to line up on runway and glide slope when I'm parallel with runway? - I'll check your manual if I missed something on this
- Finally, and this might be tough, better engine monitor for fuel mixture - on approach / landing kept being asked to put fuel full rich, but for DC-3 full rich is considered emergency rich - again will check manual
Thanks for opportunity to try your product.

The lights data for each plane is stored on the PC's disk. Once the session starts, FSFS reads the latest settings for that plane into the aircraft page of FSFS. >> On flap violation, be nice if more was said by instructor - flaps x should only be select below xyz knots - provides more learning opportunity I see what you mean - nice idea. >> Go around stage would be nice to have - I'll check your manual if I missed something on this
This can be dealt with by moving your flight mode back if go around is required. This will put you back in cruise mode and the instructor will stop talking to you as if you were about to land. >> Add approach/descent stage - on left downwind leg kept being told to line up on runway and glide slope when I'm parallel with runway? - I'll check your manual if I missed something on this
More flight modes are a delicate matter for us. Beta testing showed that some folks would like that and others would not. In order to solve the issue you referred to, if you are going to fly circuits or flight paths that have short final legs, make sure auto-detect of landing mode is off and tell FSFS you are going into landing mode manually, and then only once you have lined up on final. >> Finally, and this might be tough, better engine monitor for fuel mixture - on approach / landing kept being asked to put fuel full rich, but for DC-3 full rich is considered emergency rich - again will check manual
It would be a serious decision to add a whole new layer of logic to track this by individual aircraft but your point is well noted - food for thought... >> Thanks for opportunity to try your product. And thank you for trying it and writing up your thoughts!
