Downloaded demo version to tryout with FS2004. Followed the instructions, started FS2004, loaded flight plan, switched to FSFS, set up pilot (saved), clicked connect, checked plane (Cessna 172) was there. Flight plan was not so loaded Flight plan. Switched back to FS2004, in Pause mode, un-paused. Instructor reads out the radio freq then informs me that FSFS has disconnected!! Tried reconnecting, same problem. Settings page details says OK , FSUIPC version 3.820, Read Errors N/A I have spent a couple of hours and I still can't get it to stay connected. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your interest in FSFS! This is most likely because you are starting outside the demo area which is very close to the KORD Chicago airport. You will also see the reason for the disconnection at the Log Book Page. If this fits - try starting at KORD or Green Bay and let us know how you get on. If not - tell us what it says at the Log Book Page in the program (explanation of disconnection).
