Hi!

Just wanted to say thank you - just tried the demo, and yes - I got an visual and an ILS landing correctly - My first real landings by the way

But now my question, I really likes to play missions, and to do that I play with Cargo Pilot from Just Flight, I can not use the demo, because the flights are pretty long in distance.

This was what happens when I tried the demo and Cargo Pilot...
I find my mission in cargo pilot, and start my mission, then it starts up the FSX and take me directly to the taxiway.
Then I load the flightplan which are generated automaticly by cargo pilot, and then connect FSFS, and it shows some NAV1 text, and then disconnects with the message

Please fly within the following airspace (N41* 30' - N45* 00', W87* 30' - W88* 30'). For example - try flying between Chicago and Green Bay.

So it looks like it works fine...

In Cargo Pilot there are some new planes also, fx. VLJ Business Jet, but I actually dont know anything about this plane, so I dont know what I should type in the aircraft tab - I know the positions of the flaps, but not about speed or anything, how do you know that?

Excellent!

So you'd leave the demo area? Understood.

Agreed!

The best place to start are the 2 htm files that come with most add on planes. These are the reference and checklist files. They do not always contain all the data you need to create a profile in FSFS.

You can also look on the web for stats about the real plane, but that is the second choice because you are flying a sim plane built by the makers of a sim plane, so for example, if they say it will stall at 75 knots, that's when it'll stall, regardless of what the real plane might do!

At a push - for a shortcut - you can just enter 'sensible' speeds for the flaps and fly like that with your user created profile (this is an .FSU file).

If you think you've got all the right information on that plane, please submit the data to us and we'll add it to the Hangar, from which point we can share it with others and, importantly, as it will be an .FSR file published by us, you'll be able to submit scores to the web with it - which you cannot do with an .FSU file.

Please keep us in the loop about your experiences with Cargo Pilot - it's always interesting to hear about new ways in which people are enjoying FSFlyingSchool!
