I have installed Approach successfully...
It seems to have update the runway information...
I can set an approach and then the only thing
I can do is save the approach for the airport...
then what do I do?...no "Connect" button...
if I go to the airport in XP, I cannot see any
new approach listed...
Do I need FSUIPC?...where to put it?
There is no specific information in the Manual...
Any help appreciated...
Thanks, John Helms

Hi John:
FSUIPC is for FSX and P3D so you should stay well away from that.
XPUIPC is for X-Plane and needed only by our FSFlyingSchool.
FS Instant Approach 2019 for X-Plane 11 needs Sandy Barbour's free X-Plane plugin program as described in FSIA's manual.
Once the approach is created you use Sandy Barbour's free X-Plane plugin program to read the approach data our software has created to put you on approach - this is also of course described in the manual - please see there for full details.
Have a great weekend of flights!

Hi Jeff...thanks for the prompt reply...
I thought I had looked at the manual,
but I confused my FSFS 2017 XP with my
IA XP 2019...my bad...i try to read the
manuals...
I am up and rolling with IA 2019 XP...
Am I correct that it has no instructor
comment?...if that is the case, any way to
run the FSFS 2017 XP together with the
IA XP 2019 and get sound and approach comments?
or, is the solution to upgrade to FSFS Pro 2019 XP?
Thanks for your continued help...
Cheers, John Helms

Hi John:
Good to read you are up and running!
All versions of FS Instant Approach are products to set up approaches and do not contain instructors.
You can certainly use FS Instant Approach and FSFlyingSchool.
If you want to get the most out of FSFlyingSchool then FSFlyingSchool 2020 for X-Plane 11 and 10 has by far the most features.
FSFlyingSchool (any year) for XP does not contain approaches - that is the function filled by FS Instant Approach 2020 for X-Plane 11.
Be sure to visit our web site and check out all the new additions to our new FSFlyingSchool 2020 for X-Plane 11 + 10 - packed with loads of new features including Taxiway Tutor Pack and now with (our biggest feature addition in many years) automatic support for any powered airplane!
FSFlyingSchool 2020's features are described here...

... and there are discounted upgrades here...

I just bought FS Instant Approach 2020. Everything seems fine except when I click the button to read the manual, I get an error message saying the 2019 manual not found. It looks like the 2020 manual was not included in the download. How do I get it? Thanks

Hi Alpha Echo:
Thanks for your report.
This is a fault in the program - it is looking for the 2019 manual when it should be looking for the 2020 manual. We will correct this in the next release!
The manual will be on your PC in the folder in which FS Instant Approach is installed.
It is also here in case anyone who does not have it would like to read it...
