Hello
I tried the demo version of FSInstantApproach and I have not understood what I did wrong :
1) launching FSI with XP11 running;
2) try to create the RW Data;
3) the program stopped after an virus alert from McAfee (program FSI...exe);
4) Running again XP11 and message 'no NavData for XP11;
5) Running the XP11 Installer to update : 217 MB were found.
6) OK after with XP11
What can be done with FSI ?
Best regards
gerodcray

Hi again Gerodcray:
This needs to be solved:
>> 3) the program stopped after an virus alert from McAfee (program FSI...exe);
Any security software on the PC may block any software which attempts to run, and if it is blocking our FS Instant Approach then it will need to be told to allow it to run, or it cannot function.
Please let me know how you get on.

Hello,
Thank you for answering. When McAfee stopped the program I saw on the console that the FSFSRWS.exe was running. Before my downloading of FSInstantApproach I made a flight using XP11.40 and FSFS without having problem. At that time NavData was OK. The problem occurred only a few minutes after a new launch of XP. To solve the XP problem I ran the installer to verify the integrity of files and then all missing NavData was created again (217 MB of new files : it was surprising as my XP was updated a few days ago). I ran a McAfee scan on the FSI..exe file and everything was OK.
Before trying again with the complete version of FSI I would like to understand a little bit more where the problem was coming from.
Best regards
gerodcray
One day later :
I installed the full version and now everything is OK concerning the NavData base. I have no problem running FSIAp in the standard mode but when trying the random mode I get the message "not responding" for XP and the screen looks grey. I have to use ctrl+alt+supp to close both XP and FSIAp.
As it is another problem (?) perhaps I have to open a new topic ?
Thank you for helping.

Hello,
As this problem cannot be solved here and as I don't know what to do I am sorry to uninstall this soft. Perhaps later with another couple (PC, OS).
Best regards
