I purchased FS Instant Approach for Window (X-Plane) from XPLANE.ORG. For some reason its not letting me register and keeps me in demo mode. I entered the field and registration keys that were provided to no avail..
Gives me a message of invalid registration key.
Please advise

I am very sorry for the inconvenience of this issue - it seems that the X-Plane.org store emailed an invalid key to you, but we have since emailed you a valid key.

Today I purchased FS Instant Approach for Window (X-Plane) from xplane.org. Its not letting me register, And When I entered the field and registration keys that Xplane.org provided it
gives me a message of invalid registration key.
Please Help not sure how to fix this!

Hi:
Sadly, the registration instructions in the email from the store are very brief.
Good news - this is all you need to do...
At the credits screen of our product:
The 8 digit number needs to be pasted into the first 3 fields.
The reg-key needs to go into the 4th field.

I purchased FS Instant Approach 2020 from X-plane. They sent me the following:
Field1to3:xxxxxxxx
RegKey:xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
I put the Field num into each of Fld 1,2,3
I put the RegKey into the field asking for it.
I entered the real numbers, not the x's
Gives a registration error.
Then I noticed that the X-plane store sold me both the 2020 version and the 2021 version???
Are these the same program? Just a newer version?
If a newer version, why didn't you just update the first one instead of installing a separate program?
Which one do I use?
The 2020 version finds the X-Plane 11 directory but doesn't accept the RegKey.
The 2021 version accepted the RegKey so it is now registered. BUT it claims my X-Plane 11 directory is not found????? (this in spite of the 2020 version finding it just fine?

Hi Jim:
From your report the explanation is that you bought
FSFlyingSchool 2020 for X-Plane 11 and 10
and
FS Instant Approach 2021 for X-Plane 11 and 10

These are two entirely separate applications and should be installed into 2 separate folders.
They each have separate license data as is shown in the email you will have received from the XP shop.
If you put the matching values into each one they will work.

Hi,
You missed my comment of why the 2021 version does not find the X-plane directory when the 2020 version does?
Also, why do I need the 2020 version if I have the 2021 version?

Hi again Jim:
You have two separate programs - they are not interchangeable.
They do different things.
Please see the installation instructions in their respective manuals - there are full details there for getting the programs to see and communicate with X-Plane.
If you read the manual and follow the instructions and still have problems please let me know.
