Hello,
I used FSFS both for P3Dv3 and P3Dv4. A few days ago I suppressed P3Dv3 and I installed again only P3Dv4. Now I can't use FSFS with P3Dv4. Why ? I guess I have to buy again an update ?

Hello,
At the moment I have four FSFS installed on my PC (all in the same folder Program Files (x86) : FSFS 2017 XP, FSFS 2018 XP, FSFS 2017 P3D and FSFS 2016 FSX. Different icons are on the desktop. My problem is that I can't use FSFS P3D since a few days. I read in the forum these softwares should not be located on the same folder : in fact they are not because of different names. What is the best organization ? But my main concern now is how to use again the soft with P3Dv4 ? Do I really need buying again an update ?

Hi:
As you can imagine, no one ever needs to buy the same product again unless they have lost their license codes. If they are lost, we will try to help find them.
Download links and license codes should always be kept in a safe place well away from your PC.
In order to use FSFlyingSchool with P3Dv4 simply install whichever version of FSFlyingSchool you have for P3D version four into a new folder which you specify during installation.
All versions of FSFlyingSchool for separate simulators should always be in separate folders.
At present we support X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator and Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D - this makes a total of 3 folders needed to hold all our different versions of FSFlyingSchool.

Hello,
When I bought FSFS for P3D (November 2017) the soft was labelled P3Dv3 but I could run it with P3Dv4. i tried to reinstall it but it was unsuccessfull. It's why I'm confused about what to do.

As you can imagine Prepar3Dv4 requires FSFlyingSchool PRO 2017 (or later) for P3Dv4. It may be possible to do other things with FSFlyingSchool but they are not supported unless they follow the product description and license.
In order to continue to use the product you own (2017 for P3Dv3) you can simply install the simulator for which is was published - in this case - Prepar3Dv3.
Do you intend to use P3Dv3 again or exclusively P3Dv4?

Hello,
As I don't expect using again P3Dv3 I guess I have now to buy the update for v4. I have not been surprised to be able to run the soft designed for v3 with v4 as the same thing occurs with XP10 and XP11.

I did it : buying and installing the updtate P3Dv4. But another problem when trying to generate RW data (see screenshot). What is missing ?

Hello,
I replaced the MakeRws.exe file from 4.6.9.9 to 4.8.4 version. After running the exe file in P3D I got the message 'all main data files produced okay'.
Then I ran FSFS and again the same message as the one I sent in a previous topic. I don't understand why the MakeRws version is again 4.6.9.9. Is the installation of the soft 'addon_organizer_1_33_b07 really needed ?

Hello,
Everything is OK now. The most important thing was to replace MakeRws in both folders (P3Dv4 and FSFS). I also have installed addon_organizer but I continue thinking it was not needed (yes or no ?). Another question : I ran MakeRws a first time without being connected with P3D and it was completed successfully. After I ran P3D then FSFS and I noticed the box 'generate RW' was still active. I enabled it again. Why this another step ?
