Dear all!
I have a purchased version of 2015 pro. for a long time. Today I purchased the upgrade to P3D v. 4 and everything is set fine, but how do I can use the program for P3D v. 3, which is also available on my comp? When I specify the path to P3D v.3 location the program does not find it.
Thanking you in advanced.
Berny

Hi Berny:

Glad to help!

I need to make sure I fully understand what is installed on your PC and how it is configured.

You have P3Dv3 so you can of course continue to use FSFlyingSchool PRO 2015 with that.

As you would imagine, FSFlyingSchool PRO 2018 for P3Dv4 is for P3Dv4 so you need to make sure that the path to the folder containing P3Dv4 on your PC is given to it at the settings screen of 2018 - not the path for P3Dv3.

As you have 2 versions of FSFlyingSchool I need to make sure you have them installed into two completely separate folders? (They cannot both function on the PC if they are in the same folder)

Which folder contains P3Dv3?

Which folder contains P3Dv4?

Please let me know.

Thank you for your prompt and kind response. I installed the upgrade to the same folder where FlightSchool 2015 was. Now I have two icons. One of them starts the program for P3D v.4 and the second one for FSX (I have the FSX steam edition too), However, there are no options for P3D v3.path.
Thank you!

Hi Berny:

Please tell me, on your PC:

Which folder contains P3Dv3?

Which folder contains P3Dv4?

What simulator was your FSFlyingSchool 2015 for?

Hi!

My system files are on the disc "C".

S:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3

S:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4

The FSF School 2015 was for FSX-Steam and P3D

Thank you!

Hi:

>> The FSF School 2015 was for FSX-Steam and P3D

As you can imagine FSFlyingSchool PRO 2015 for FSX is just for FSX and not P3D and FSFlyingSchool PRO 2015 for P3D is not for FSX.

Which version did you have?

If you had both then which 2 folders were they installed in?
