I have tried to record the Ctrl-Shift-X keys into the X-Plan 11 Keyboard Settings - Sim_Dynamic - Operation - Load situation 10 and map Load situation 10 to the T1 key of the Throttle Quandrant, but this does not work. Any idea?

Hi Ben:
I'm afraid I am not familiar with the operations you are describing in XP nor with the quadrant.
Other possibilities would of course be:
- Have the quadrant produce the keystrokes directly (if this is possible) without using the simulator
- Speak the FSFlyingSchool Voice Command "Next flight mode" and "Previous flight mode" whilst using the FSFlyingSchool Voice Command Pack for X-Plane
