I am just starting to set up FSflying school and have not been able to fund the key strokes to switch over to FSF from inside of FSX. Can some one help?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your interest in FSFS! There are number of ways to get from FSX to FSFS, and back, and they are all standard Windows methods - there is no special way to do this inside FSX or FSFS. They are 2 separate programs running on the PC and so you can switch between them by whichever method you prefer. We prefer to press ALT TAB to switch to the other program, when necessary. As you will read elsewhere here and in your manual, you should be sure to get set up with an aircraft on the ground in FSX and only then switch out of FSX and launch the FSFS application. Do not start FSFS until you are "ready to go" in FSX. At this point, you may optionally load a flight plan into FSFS, and then you should press the Connect Button in FSFS. At that point, press ALT TAB to get back to FSX and go flying! Should you have any problems with ALT TAB you can also invoke the task manager and pick the application you want from there.
