Good news for EADT X737-800 for X-Plane 10 fans who mentioned this aircraft to us recently.
We now have this aircraft tested and supported with FSFlyingSchool 2016 for X-Plane 10.
You can set this up in a few minutes - here's what you do....
If you already have the latest version (4.4.0) of FSFlyingSchool 2016 for X-Plane 10 you do not need to download it again.
If you don't already have it, download the installer for FSFlyingSchool 2016 for X-Plane 10 (Windows) from here...

If you already own a license for FSFlyingSchool 2016 for X-Plane 10 then you should install the downloaded version 4.4.0 it into the same location as your current installation. This will have the effect of updating it to the latest version 4.4.0.
If you don't already own it - the installed program is the free demo version, with which you can fly back and forth, with a team of talking instructors, between KORD Chicago and KGRB Green Bay. Just install the demo you downloaded into a new folder, wherever is convenient for you.
Once you have FSFlyingSchool 2016 for X-Plane 10 installed - here's how you add support for the EADT X737-800 for X-Plane 10...
Normally when adding support for a new aircraft to FSFlyingSchool 2016 it is only necessary to create a single FSU file as described in the FSFlyingSchool 2016 manual.
It is however the case with some airplanes, from some publishers, that a matching FSFlyingSchool 'FSU' file is required for each different livery of the aircraft.
Therefore, we have created one FSU file for each of the four liveries that came with the 737-800 we downloaded, these being: TUI.COM; Quantas; American; South African.
The 4 files are:
xpx737-800_v501.fsu
xpx737-800_v501 Qantas HD (VH-XZN).fsu
xpx737-800_v501 American x737 (2013 Oneworld Livery) SSW HD.fsu
xpx737-800_v501 South African Airways ZS-SJP HD.fsu
(You can add as many more as you like! See FSFlyingSchool 2016 manual for full details.)
The 4 files are inside this ZIP...
http://www.fsflyingschool.com/aircraft/FSFlyingSchool_files_for_xpx737-800_v501.zip
These all need to be copied into the aircraft folder of FSFlyingSchool - this is usually something like...
C:\Program Files (x86)\FSFlyingSchool 2016\Aircraft
...but of course the user may have specified a different name or location when installing FSFlyingSchool 2016.
Flying the aircraft with FSFlyingSchool 2016 for X-Plane 10:
Do not use FSFlyingSchool's option to monitor the pilot's use of strobe lights. From what we can see, the aircraft is telling X-Plane 10 that they are on all the time.
Do not use FSFlyingSchool's option to monitor the pilot's use of landing lights. From what we can see, the aircraft is telling X-Plane 10 that they are on all the time.
That's it! We hope you enjoy flying this splendid aircraft with FSFlyingSchool.
