Hello,
I just received an email from an unknown address FSInventions@mail.vresp.com, telling "There's a new version out today! New version 9.4.0 of FSFlyingSchool PRO 2016 for FSX". It contains a link to download this new version.
One - I own FSFS for P3D, not FSX,
two - I have no idea who this is coming from
three - I see no such announcement here.
Is that how the products are updated?

We are FSInventions - the publishers of FSFlyingSchool.
The email is the usual way we notify folks of updates.
We post on the forum too as soon as we have time.
We do not always have all the information on a customer in our database tables and so sometimes customers will receive information relating to our products, if not the specific product they own.
Anyone who already owns a REGISTERED copy of the SAME product can download the latest demo and install it to update their version.
